The Article Table Window contains a collection of articles which can be stored as one file whose extension is .iSpdRd. Quizzes can easily be made and stored with the Article Set using this window. Most controls in this window have convenient Shortcut Keys.
Read Article Button: Open the selected article in an iSpeedRead document window.
Edit Quiz Popup: Make, edit, and delete quizzes for the selected article as described here.
Commands Popup: This popup, which contains commands for making quizzes and adding and removing articles from the collection, is described here.
Edit Table Checkbox: Set the table as editable or not. If editable, the different entries can be changed; otherwise double-clicking will open the clicked article (which is equivalent to clicking the Read Article Button). This mode is useful since you will generally not want to be editing the entries, but rather opening the articles.
Table Columns: The first column is the index. Note that dragging an article will effect a change in the indexes associated with the articles. The second column "Dif" is a rating of the difficulty of the article from 1-5. The difficulty value can be edited directly in the table. The "Length" column gives the number of words of the article; it is calculated by iSpeedRead and cannot be edited within the table. The value for the "Title" is given taken by iSpeedRead from the name of the file when possible; it can be edited directly in the table. An article's "Author" can be entered in the table, as also its "Genre".
The table allows drag and drop within the table and with other iSpeedRead Article Tables. You can also drag files from the Finder directly to the Article Table.
Table entries can be sorted by each column so that articles can be displayed by length, author, etc.
